Caitlin, Caitlin, look at you go!

Caitlin's really coming along with her walker these past few days. I don't think it will be too long before she starts letting go. Then I'll really be in trouble!

And the stairs - oh my! We have to keep them gated otherwise she beelines it and climbs the stairs with haste!

A few other things Caitlin's doing:

• wanting to know what everything is called, e.g., she points, waits for you to name the object, then points to something new - the girl is always pointing!
• knows where her toes are and can find them when you ask
• will point to Ben if you ask her where he is
• pretend eats food, which is something she's picked up from Ben and our tea parties
• says 'dada' and 'uh-oh' - no 'mama' yet, but she seems to call me 'ba-ba'
• loves flipping the pages in a book when you read to her
• LOVES to feed herself; we just put her food on her tray and she has at it, and if you try to spoon feed her you have to fill the spoon and pass it to her so she can do it herself, otherwise she shakes her head and gets mad

I'm sure there are a tonne of other things, but this is what comes to mind at the moment.

She sure is a lot of fun. It's such a pleasure watching her learn new things and explore the world around here. My heart just swells right up when I see her beam with pride with each new accomplishment.
